Fairfield, Conn. (WTNH) - Authorities in Fairfield and Westport say they are recommending that residents along the shoreline evacuate.
With the high tide rolling in around 10pm, and heavy rain forecasted well past midnight, there are flood concerns.

Residents in Fairfield can go to Ludlowe High School Shelter on Unquowa Road for shelter. Residents in Westport can go to the senior center.
The Red Cross has also opened a shelter at Brien McMahon High School.
About 75,000 people across the state are without power.
