Family of four displaced by fire

NORWALK, Conn. (WTNH) -- Firefighters battled a house fire in Norwalk Tuesday night.

The fire broke out shortly after 8 p.m., at a three-story apartment house located at 37 Taylor Ave.

Upon arrival, fire officials said there was heavy fire showing from the third floor window.

All residents were able to escape the fire.

No injuries were reported.

The house was deemed unfit for occupancy and the Red Cross had to relocate a family of four.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
