Fire sparked by lightning in Danbury

    DANBURY, Conn. (WTNH) -- Danbury firefighters say a fire was sparked when a condo was hit by lightning.

    It happened at 1 East Hayestown Road.

    Assistant Fire Chief Bernie Meehan tweeted that the second alarm fire was in the attic of a home in the Barclay Commons condos.

    The fire was extinguished just before 5:30 p.m.
