Firefighters battle garage blaze

NORWALK, Conn. (WTNH) -- Firefighters battled a blaze in a two-car garage in Norwalk Tuesday night.

The fire broke out around 7:30 p.m., at a two and a half story home, with an attached garage.

Fire officials said the fire was fully involved upon arrival.

The home was unoccupied at the time of the fire.

There was a work van that belonged to the homeowner that was consumed by fire, along with a riding lawn mower and a leaf blower.

No firefighters were injured.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
