Firefighters put out greenhouse fire

WESTPORT, Conn. (WTNH) -- A fire broke out in the greenhouse at Daybreak Nurseries on Wednesday.

Around 5:30 p.m. police received a call about a fire in the greenhouse at 500 Main Street.

Upon arrival police found a fire burning through the roof at the rear of the complex.

Firefighters were able to extinguish the fire and prevented it from spreading to the main building.

The Wesport Fire Marshal's Officer determined the fire to be accidental.

The fire was under control around 6:00 p.m. and the last fire unit left the scene at 6:45 p.m. according to officials.

No one was injured during the incident.
