Former rubber factory catches fire

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (WTNH) -- Firefighters battled a blaze at a vacant building in Bridgeport Tuesday night.

The fire broke out around 8:30 p.m., at 141 Stratford Ave., the former AGI Rubber factory.

Upon arrival, firefighters found heavy fire on the first floor that extended to the second floor.

The fire was under control within an hour.

No injuries were reported.

The fire is under investigation.
