DANBURY, Conn. (WTNH) -- A Danbury business owner is doing his part to help the victims of the Colorado shooting.

Kevin Awalt, the owner of Gotham Auto in Danbury, will be selling t-shirts as a fundraiser.

The money raised will go to the victims and their families.

"What happened there was such tragedy that I felt this is something that I had to get involved in and the t-shirts just seemed like such a good idea," Awalt said.

Awalt says he is a huge Batman fan, the name of his shop is even based on the Batman series.

He hopes to sell at least 300 shirts and says the first order is almost sold out already.

To order a t-shirt, send Awalt an email at gothamauto@gmail.com.
