Hartford, Conn. (WTNH) - Gov. Jodi Rell says residents impacted by the deadly March 13th storm will get a chance to voice their concerns at a series of public hearings.
The storm knocked out power to tens of thousands of people, mainly in lower Fairfield County. Three deaths have been attributed to the storm.
The hearings are part of a state investigation into CL&P's and UI's response time.
βThe first phase of this investigation β numerous questions and requests for detailed information from the utilities β is already under way, but I want the concerns and experiences of ratepayers to be a major factor in this review as well,β Governor Rell said in a written statement.
The meetings are as followed:
New Canaan: April 7, Town Hall, 77 Main St., 6:30pm
Westport: April 12, Town Hall, 110 Myrtle Ave., 6:30pm
Fairfield: April 14, Town Hall, 725 Old Post Rd., 6:30pm
Greenwich: April 15, Town Hall, 101 Field Point Rd., 6:30pm
