Norwalk, Conn. (WTNH) - The baby and her mother missing from Norwalk have been found.
Police say the pair were found at the Econo Lodge on Route 1 in Norwalk. The mother wont face criminal charges, police confirm, because she was considered a missing person.
Officers say both mother and baby are fine.
State police had been looking for the infant girl and her mother who had been missing since Wednesday.
Nearly 8-month-old Emily Acevedo was last seen with her mother, Kelly Acevedo, on February 1 in Norwalk.
The mother was recently released from a New Haven rehab and was due in court.
"We were notified by DCF because Norwalk was the last place she was seen," said Lt. Ashley Gonzalez of the Norwalk Police Department. "Norwalk offices were currently handling the case so they reached out to us."
Police say Emily's custodian is the State of Connecticut's Department of Children & Families. DCF reported that Emily was missing.
