(WTNH) -- Gov. Malloy spoke at 6 p.m. to address the tragic Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting.

Malloy says evil visited this community today and it's too early to speak of recovery but each parent, sibling must know we're in this together.

We with work with all residents to make sure that we all get through this, Malloy said.

The governor says our prayers at this time have to go out to the families. Say a prayer or send a best wish to those who have suffered today.
