SHELTON, Conn. (AP) — A 37-year-old Shelton man has suffered a broken leg while a power boat was towing him on a tube on the Housatonic River in Shelton.
Authorities say the accident happened around 7:30 p.m. Thursday as the man was riding on the tube with a friend. His leg apparently slipped into the water and its force fractured his femur.
State environmental conservation police say a 20-foot power boat was towing the tube on the lower Housatonic River.
