Man killed in Stratford crash

STRATFORD, Conn. (CT Post) -- A man was killed when the SUV he was driving crashed through a fence and into the yard of a Mount Carmel Boulevard house Tuesday night, police said.

The man's identity was not immediately released by police. According to emergency dispatches, the man was in his 50s.

There were no passengers in the SUV and no other cars were involved in the crash.
