NEWTOWN, Conn. (WTNH)-- Main Street in Newtown is media row, with crews from all over the country and the world.
"Probably a little too much, but it's difficult to say what's too much or not. But, probably a little bit too much, I would say," said Sarunas Sakalauskas of Monroe.
It's hard to find local residents on the sidewalks. Rather, it's folks from all over, coming to see the ever growing memorial under the town Christmas tree.
'It's outrageous but that's how they are showing the love to the people that passed away," said an unidentified woman.
It seems like every car is from out of state or is a satellite news truck, and there is a camera on every corner.
A community trying to cope is becoming weary of those here to tell their story.
Signs reading "No Media" are popping up around town.
Others are more tolerant of the mass of journalists.
"But like I said without them, we wouldn't have known anything," said the same unidentified woman.
A community mourning, with media watching.
