DANBURY, Conn. (WTNH) -- A silver alert has been issued for a missing teen from Danbury.

Seventeen-year-old Janet Michacha is described as being a white female, with brown hair and green eyes. She is 5'2" tall and weighs 160 lbs.

She was last seen at work at Chopt Restaurant in Rye Brook, NY, on Sept. 15th.

Michacha was wearing dark blue jeans, a white tank or tee shirt, a black hoodie with a front zipper and white sneakers.

Police say Michacha always wears a black string bracelet with a hanging cross on her wrist, and a white and brown string anklet on her right ankle.
