NEWTOWN, Conn. (WTNH) -- Families and friends will gather again in and around Newtown today to say good-byes to several more young children and their teachers.
The burial for 6-year old Jesse McCord Lewis will be private, but today friends can pay their respects to the family at the Honan Funeral Home in Newtown starting at 9 o'clock this morning. Jesse died while bravely trying to lead other children to safety.
Six-year-old Catherine Hubbard, who will be remembered for her passion for animals and her constant smile, will be laid to rest today. Her funeral mass starts at 10:00 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Church in Newtown.
Six-year old Allison Wyatt, who dreamed of being an artist, will also be buried today. Her service starts at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church in Southbury.
Also at 11:00 a.m. a funeral service for six-year-old Benjamin Wheeler will be held at Trinity Episcopal Church in Newtown. Benjamin loved to play soccer and was just learning how to swim.
Another of the Sandy Hook staff members, teacher Lauren Rousseau, will also be laid to rest. The 30-year-old was known for her love of family and her ever-present smile. Calling hours begin at 10 at the First Congregation Church in Danbury followed by a memorial service.
