FRANCONIA, N.H. (AP) — New Hampshire Fish and Game Department officers have come to the aid of a hiker who experienced chest pains.
Officers responded to the Old Bridle Path Trail in Franconia Notch on Wednesday evening to help Erica Desantis of Redding, Conn.
Rescuers started hiking up the path at about 6:10 p.m. and reached Mrs. Desantis about a half-hour later.
Rescuers ensured she was stable and helped her down the mountain.
