WASHINGTON (WTNH) -- Newtown school Superintendent Dr. Janet Robinson spoke before House Democrats Wednesday at a hearing on gun violence. Here is the full video of her opening statement.

Among those in attendance were Connecticut Rep. Rosa DeLauro, D-3rd District, and Rep. Elizabeth Esty, D-5th District.
