Fatal accident on I-95 in Norwalk

    Norwalk, Conn. (WTNH) - A tractor trailer and a car collided on I-95 south in Norwalk killing one person. The accident shut down the highway.

    The accident happened around 11:45am near Exit 16. The accident was cleared by 3:30pm.

    News 8 viewers used Report It to send in pictures from the scene. The pictures show a red Volkswagen sedan heavily damaged by the tractor trailer.

    Police are still investigating the cause.

    The victim has been identified as 19-year old Liset Santos of Bridgeport.
