DARIEN, Conn. (WTNH) - Occupy Protestors have made their way to Darien where law enforcement is out in full force.

Darien resident Margaret Rague organized the event at Tilley Pond Park.

She and others plan to be demonstrating for two days.

It has been estimated that the two day movement could cost taxpayers more than $10,000 in police overtime.

"We were expecting anywhere from the number of people we do have here to a couple of hundred so we're prepared for anything that can happen," said Sgt. Jeremiah Marron, Darien Police Department .

Streets were blocked off and security is being beefed up around the park.
