Bridgeport, Conn. (WTNH) - Over 500 passengers onboard a Metro North train were stuck in the middle of the tracks after the train lost power due to damaged wires, according to officials.
Officials say passengers had to wait for 45 minutes until they were able to get an empty train to transfer the passengers. Metro North was able to place a plank in between the two trains as they were lined up side-by-side to have the passengers continue their commute.
Despite the high heat, no one onboard became sick or fainted. There were no delays to other trains as a result of the incident.
