Danbury, Conn. (WTNH) - A brief scare had a happy ending when a plane without power landed safely at the Danbury airport.
The Danbury fire department headed to the airport after receiving reports of a plane with no power and no radio contact.
Authorities say the small plane had half of its landing gear down. There was concern that the plane would have trouble when landing, but the pilot was able to manually get the landing gear down, according to the Danbury News-Times.
The fire department confirmed that the plane landed safely and no one on board was injured.
