Police investigate possible bomb

STAMFORD, Conn. (Stamford Advocate) -- A resident calling in a reported bomb on Sylvan Knoll Road has police scrambling to the area.

The caller said the bomb, which he at first thought was a military antique, was found behind 276 Sylvan Knoll Road shortly before 8 a.m. The caller told police that someone picked up the bomb and brought it out to the front of the house.
