NORWALK, Conn. (Stamford Advocate) -- City police and animal control officers are trying to figure out why someone threw several headless chickens or roosters into the back yard of an Ely Avenue residence last week.
Norwalk Police Sgt. David O'Connor said police were called to a residence on Ely Avenue that abuts the Roodner Court housing project at 6 p.m. Friday by a man complaining that he had just found some decapitated chickens in his yard.
When police got there they verified the man's account and it seemed like someone threw the chickens over the Roodner Court fence and into the man's yard, O'Connor said.
