STAMFORD, Conn. (WTNH) -- A new partnership will provide money for college to children of parents who lost their lives in the line of duty.
An announcement made on Monday outlined a new way to give back to military families, who have given the ultimate sacrifice.
The Stamford-based non-profit, "Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation," will provide money for college to kids who lost a parent in the line of duty.
The group estimates over 15,000 children have lost a parent in combat over the past 25 years.
