Stamford courthouse evacuated after threatening call

STAMFORD, Conn. (WTNH) -- Stamford Courthouse was evacuated after a threatening call was received Thursday morning, police said.

The call came in shortly after 10 a.m.

The courthouse was evacuated as Court Marshals, State Police Troopers and CSP Emergency Services Unit searched the area.

By noon, officials said that court operations had resumed.

The investigation remains active.
