STRATFORD, Conn. (CT Post) -- About 10 people were made homeless early Saturday when a fire spread through a two-family home at 393-395 Columbus Ave, officials said.

Shortly after midnight, firefighters were called to battle the blaze. When firefighters arrived the entire front portion of the left side of the duplex was fully involved and was extending into the right side of the building.

Homeowner Anthony Scraders told Doingitlocal.com he was getting ready to go to bed when he was alerted to flames coming from his neighbors' front door.
