Stratford man dies after crashing into parked car

STRATFORD, Conn. (WTNH)-- A Stratford man has died after crashing into a parked car on Friday night.

Police say preliminary reports show that Kevin Oakley, 32, was traveling northbound in the area of 957 Huntington Road, around 9 PM. He veered left, crossing the double yellow lines, and crashed into a parked and unoccupied car in the southbound lane.

Oakley was taken to Bridgeport Hospital and later died as a result of the injuries he sustained.

The crash is still under investigation.
