Suspicious package found at hospital

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (WTNH) -- A suspicious package was found on the fourth floor of St. Vincent's Medical Center.

A package containing white powder was opened and left on a desk on a desk.

Authorities said a female employee was exposed to the powder and is currently being held in the closed off area until DEEP tests the powder.

DEEP is on their way to the hospital and police are on the scene.

This is being treated as a criminal act.
