Greenwich, Conn. (WTNH) - A Greenwich teenager is facing charges after he allegedly shot a BB gun out his window and struck a stroller with a baby inside.
The incident happened Tuesday on 27 Havemeyer Place. A woman told police that she was walking with her granddaughter when the unidentified teen fired three shots at the stroller.
Police say the teen told them that he was on house arrest and wearing an ankle bracelet and that he did not have any weapons. Finally he admitted that he put a can on the window ledge and fired a .22 caliber air rifle through the can.
Police found air powered rifles, one air powered pistol and a paint gun in his grandmother's vehicle.
The teen was charged with reckless endangerment, risk of injury to a minor and illegal discharge of a firearm.
The baby was not injured.
