STRATFORD, Conn. (WTNH) -- A silver alert has been issued for an 84-year-old Stratford woman.

Lydia Scarazzini was last seen with her grand daughter Claudia Herring, 31, on Dec. 3.

Herring was suppose to return Scarazzini by 7 p.m. that night.

Scarazzini has red hair and blue eyes. She is 5'6'' and weighs 165 lbs.

Scarazzini may have been taken to the Brooklyn area of New York City and is in need of medications.
