FAIRFIELD, Conn. (WTNH) -- A 98-year-old Fairfield woman whose son tried to evict her from her home earlier this year has passed away.
Mary Kantorowski died Saturday, August 11th, in the home that she lived in since 1953.
It was Kantorowski's eldest son, Peter, who tried to get his mother evicted, saying that he was worried about her safety and security.
Peter withdrew the lawsuit a few months later.
Friends are invited to attend Kantorowski's funeral on Friday at 8:30 a.m., at the Fairfield Funeral Home of Edmund W. Dougiello, 36 South Pine Creek Rd.; and burial at 9 a.m. in St. Anthony of Padua Church in Fairfield.
