17-year-old reported missing

EAST WINDSOR, Conn. (WTNH) -- Police in East Windsor are searching for a missing 17-year-old boy.

Harvey Nelson was last seen in East Windsor on Tuesday at 12:28 p.m.

He was wearing either tan shorts or blue jeans and a white t-shirt. He was carrying a black backpack.

The 6'1" black male is 190 pounds. He had black hair, brown eyes and a scar near his left eyebrow.

Police did not release his photo.

Police say he could be traveling to Bridgeport of the New Haven area.

Anyone who sees him is asked to call police at 860-534-1000.
