HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) -- Hundreds of people are expected to pay tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King Junior and help educate the future leaders of tomorrow.
A group of women is honoring legacy of Dr. King by promoting scholarship.
The Connecticut Alumni of Delta Sigma Theta, a sorority of Africam American Women, is holding its annual fundraising breakfast today at the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford.
The money raised goes directly for female African-American high school seniors going to college.
This is the 28th annual breakfast. Organizers expect 600 people to attend.
