Avon PD search for 57-year-old woman

AVON, Conn. (WTNH) -- UPDATE: 57-year-old Susan McCabe has been found safe.

Avon Police have issued a silver alert for a 57-year-old woman.

Susan McCabe was last seen at 8:30 p.m. enroute to the Hartford area.

She was last seen operating a 2011 red Ford Mustang with a black convertible top with the license plate 276YER.

She was last seen wearing a black woven coat.

She has brown hair, brown eyes, is 5'3'' and weighs 140 lbs.

Police said this is a silver alert due to a "medical issue" but would not say the exact issue citing HIPPA.
