Bicyclist hit by car hospitalized

Canton, Conn. (WTNH) - A bicyclist was taken to the hospital after being struck by a car in Canton Wednesday.

Police said the woman was taken to the hospital by Lifestar and sustained serious injuries.

The driver of the vehicle was uninjured and is cooperating with police.

Route 179 remains closed between Route 202 and Maple Avenue.
