Body of man found near Bristol railroad tracks

BRISTOL, Conn. (AP) — Police say the body of a man was found along railroad tracks in Bristol, and the death is being considered suspicious.

Police say someone walking in a wooded area between Center and Blakeslee streets discovered the unresponsive man at about 11:30 a.m. Sunday and called 911. Responding officers determined that the man was dead.

The man has been tentatively identified, but his name is not being released until his family has been notified.

The death is under investigation.
