Canton cop faces DUI charges

Canton, Conn. (WTNH) - A Canton police sergeant is on administrative leave after his arrest on a drunk driving charge.

Sgt. Tyson Deloy was arrested August 28th. Police say he was off-duty and not driving a town vehicle when he was arrested.

Deloy posted bond, is on administrative leave and "his police powers have been suspended," a police news release said.

He is scheduled to return to court October 28th.
