Comptroller launches new website

HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) -- Comptroller Kevin Lembo launched a new website Monday hoping to help residents understand state financial data and give a simple way to acces that info.

The website is called " Open Connecticut ."

The site is organized into seven sections bringing financial information that's usually scattered and difficult to understand to one place.

Lembo says, "it's your money, and you have a right to know. that's the simple message behind Open Connecticut.
