SOUTHINGTON, Conn. (WTNH) -- Police say that a Southington man died from self-inflicted carbon monoxide poisoning.

A woman called police on Friday, April 20 after she found her husband, Gordon Rowe, unconscious in the basement of their home on Copper Ridge.

By the time help arrived, both Rowe and his wife were unconscious. Rowe was not breathing and he was pronounced dead on the scene.
