ROCKY HILL, Conn. (WTNH) -- The Westside Market in Rocky Hill was the safest place in town Friday.
That's because 10 Rocky Hill police officers spent the day on the roof overlooking the parking lot, as part of their 'cops on top' promotion for Connecticut Special Olympics.
"Can you come over here and give us a little donation? Yes? All right, thank you, thank you very much," said Det. Roy Bombaci, Rocky Hill PD.
It's kind of hard to say no to a cop with a bull horn; just about everyone coming and going was willing to make a donation. One hundred percent of the proceeds will go to Special Olympics.
Take a look at some of the Report It photos we received in November, 2012.
