Driver crashes into 2 utility poles in West Hartford

WEST HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH)-- Police are investigating the car crash that hit two utility poles on South Main Street, in West Hartford, early Saturday morning.

The driver left the scene, also leaving a large amount of cash behind, outside the car.

Police say they've contacted the car's registered owner, who they believe was driving at the time.

The driver's name has not been released and the investigation continues.
