Driver killed in Bloomfield car crash

BLOOMFIELD, Conn. (WTNH)-- A person was killed after a car crash in Bloomfield, early Saturday morning.

Police say a gray Chevy Impala was driving north on Route 189, South of the Simsbury line, when it collided head on with a red 1995 GMC Sonoma, around 3:49 AM.

The driver of the Chevy was killed and the passenger was seriously injured.

The driver of the GMC suffered a broken leg.

The accident is still under investigation.
