Fatal motorcycle crash in Bristol

Bristol, Conn. (WTNH) - A Prospect man died after he crashed his Harley motorcycle into a car.

The accident happened Wednesday evening around 6:45.

Police say 50-year old Jeffrey Emmons was traveling south on King Street when he collided with a Toyota that was traveling north on King Street and turning west onto Woodland Street. Emmons was ejected from his motorcycle and later died at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford.

The operator of the Toyota was not injured and no charges have been filed.
