HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) -- A huge gift from taxpayers Friday to help train doctors for the high tech procedures of the future.
It's a $10 million state grant to support a 30,000 foot expansion of Hartford Hospital's Center for Education, Simulation, and Innovation.
"We're bringing in physicians from around the world to be trained in simulation technique," said Elliot Joseph, Hartford Health Care.
The training facility allows health care professionals to simulate different types of acute health crises. It's an international hub for high technology training in the medical fields.
