WINDSOR LOCKS, Conn. (AP) — The public will have an opportunity to discuss plans to build a new terminal at Bradley International Airport in Windsor Locks.
The state Department of Transportation has scheduled a public hearing on Thursday to gather views on an environmental assessment and environmental impact evaluation for the project. The hearing will be at the Connecticut Fire Academy.
DOT says no final decision has been made concerning the proposed terminal. If the concept is ultimately approved, the now-vacant Terminal B, which originally opened in 1952, will be demolished to make room for a new facility that will include concourses, a new parking garage, and a consolidated car rental facility.
Written comments on the environmental plans will be accepted until Aug. 17 at the DOT headquarters in Newington.
