HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) -- A career center is coming to Hartford, with a goal to help residents with job and career prospects.

In the first partnership of its kind, Capital Workforce Partners and the H-P-L have opened up.

This career center is available to the public days and evenings when the Hartford Public Library is open.

"We're bringing the Connecticut Works services to Hartford so that Hartford residents have easy access to job seeking services, job seeking assistance to career agents here that will help them immediately," said Pam Nabors of Capital Workforce Partners.

Connecticut Works currently operates 17 locations statewide.
