Intellectually disabled man missing from Hartford

HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) -- Police are searching for an intellectually disabled man from Hartford.

Thurlow P. Wheeler, 61, was last seen around 5:30 a.m., on May 29th.

Wheeler is described as a white male, with white hair and blue eyes. He is 6' tall and weighs approximately 180 lbs.

He was last seen wearing blue denim shorts, a blue t-shirt, tan boots and a black baseball cap.

In addition to having an intellectual disability, Wheeler also has medical issues for which he requires medication.

Police say he may become agitated if approached.
