Man found in burning car in Hartford

HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) — Hartford police say they're trying to determine whether a man found in a burning car was shot or stabbed.

Officers responded to reports of both a car fire and a shooting on New Britain Avenue Monday night and found the man in the car. He's being treated at Hartford Hospital.

Authorities haven't released the man's name or details of his injuries or condition.

Investigators remained at the scene Tuesday morning.
