Enfield, Conn. (WTNH) - Police say a couple from Windsor were found shot to death in the parking lot of an Enfield pharmacy.
Police received a 911 call about gunshots just after 11 a.m. Sunday near the Rite Aid store on Palomba Drive. Police and EMS arrived and found a man and a woman suffering from apparent gun shot wounds.
The couple was treated at the scene and then transported to Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, Mass. where they were pronounced dead.
The victims were identified as 43-year-old Milton Reyes and 26-year-old Megan Reyes.
Chief Carl Sferazza says the incident is being investigated as a murder-suicide.
Police say they both pulled into the Rite Aid parking lot and parked side by side. The husband, armed with a .45 caliber semi automatic handgun, entered his wife's car and shot her at least twice before turning the weapon on himself.
The couple were having marital problems and there was the possibility of divorce, the investigation revealed.
