HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) -- Nearly seven years after a teenager's death, his family feels like they are finally seeing some justice.
Fifteen year old Kerry Foster Jr was shot and killed while sitting on his front porch on Hartford's Clark Street.
His family says Kerry pushed a friend out of the way while shots were fired.
Today, Paul Davis was convicted of multiple counts for that crime, including accessory to murder, conspiracy to commit murder, and attempted murder.
"I'm excited right now, because this kid just got convicted. He's been involved in plenty of shootings in Hartford. He finally has a confession that he admitted to his involvement, now it's going to show that, he has to stand up for what he's done," said Kerry Foster Senior, the victim's father.
Davis will be sentenced on May 9.
